YOU’VE LANDED ON VENUS
What does graphic design consist of
PHOTOSHOP
Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor, which allows designers to create artwork without limitation. Pixel based art is great for expressive on screen and some print media.
ILLUSTRATOR
Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editor and design program. Vectors allow us to create artwork of any size without sacrificing image quality (pixelation).
INDESIGN
Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing and typesetting software application. It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books and ebooks.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Graphic design is the process of visual communication through the use of typography, photography, iconography and illustration. The field is considered a subset of visual communication and communication design, but sometimes the term “graphic design” is used synonymously.
The days of googling an image and posting on your social own mediums have become frowned upon. The greater population has been trained to recognise content created specifically for a business and in order to achieve a professional identity for your organisation, investing in graphic design has become a must in every industry globally.
LoGO CREATION
So what does a logo need to achieve these days? The digital marketing space has over taken the physical marketing industry, however can your logo adequately be applied to either mediums and how well?
Logos need to be so simple that the tiniest of icon space on our mobile screens is still large enough to communicate what the human eye is looking at. At the same time your logo needs to be applicable to any use – embroidery, fabrication and any other vector based requirements. This is where design and creativity coincides with usability and application.
